I Have Been Recognized !

  A funny thing hapenned on the way to updating.... This blog has been running since 2011, and to both my followers, Thank You. Apparently, a stay at home dad was still an odd, if not new thing back then. This blog was cited as source material in two different publications regarding food and identity.    A Taste of Power, 2015 and  The Contested and the Poetic: Gender nd the Body, 2014 Not exactly the Nobel prize, and never really considered myself a trend setter.  I no longer work from home, but still nice to be recognized. Please note that I do not own these images

Radishes, carrots, red bell pepper and onion w salt, pepper n parm-romano ready to roast w pork loin at 375 F for an hour, to follow with 'shroom gravy w pan fried browned mushrooms, chicken stock and cream cheese... Not keto but great lower carb whole food subs for the 'taters, super tasty new fam fav including my MiL, the Maria...

  Low carb Fake-n-Bake, didn't really measure... 1/2 cup each almond flour & ground pork rinds 1/4 cup parm cheese Seasoned w dry parsley, black pepper, granulated garlic, onion powder, red pepper flake Tinfoil n top of chicken sprayed w olive oil non stick 4 Boneless skinless chicken thighs (They were marinated in buttermilk, 6g carbs per 1/2 cup but can cut carbs w mayo rubbed over chicken) 425 oven for 30 minutes Very tasty, would like to try w chicken skin chips v pork rinds or mebbe toasted low carb tortilla bread crumbs, for me pork rinds have a little lingering taste/aroma
